If you want to create an invoice but not yet send it to your customer, Routable gives you that option.
Click the +New menu on the left-navigation and select Request to begin creating your invoice.
Enter in the name of an existing customer and select the contact you'd like to receive this invoice notification.
You can also create a new customer here by typing a name. The system will prompt you to add a company contact's email address and name.
Once you've selected an existing customer or created a new customer, enter in your payment information as you normally would.
When you reach the Request details section > When should this invoice be sent?, choose Skip scheduling for now.
On the receivable's overview page, click Send invoice when you're ready to send the invoice to your customer.
(A) Confirm the bank account you'd like to receive funds to and (B) the date you'd like this invoice to be sent on. You can send it on the same day or schedule it for a day of your choice in the future.
Click Send invoice to process the invoice and notify your customer contact.
