Instant Pay lets people receive incoming funds much faster than standard bank transfers, which can take multiple business days. Instant Pay uses secure payment networks to deliver funds within seconds.
How Instant Pay Works
When a payer sends you money and Instant Pay is available:
- We process the payment using a real-time transfer system to accelerate delivery
- Funds are delivered directly to your bank account
- Instant Pay transfers arrive within minutes, even outside normal banking hours.
Eligibility
To use Instant Pay:
- Your payment must be eligible for instant settlement.
- Transfers to bank accounts can have transaction limits depending on your banking partner.
- Not all banks support instant delivery; if your bank isn’t supported, the payment may default to standard ACH.
If Instant Pay can’t be used for a specific payment, you’ll still receive your funds via your usual payment schedule.
Fees
Instant Pay charges a 1.75% fee per transfer, with:
- Minimum: $1
- Maximum: $50
This fee is deducted from your payment amount at the time of transfer.

When will I receive my funds?
Most instant payments arrive within minutes, even outside normal banking hours. In rare cases, it can arrive within 30 minutes depending on your bank.
Is Instant Pay secure?
Yes. Instant Pay uses bank-grade encryption and trusted real-time payment networks. Your information is never shared with the sender.
Is there an Instant Pay fee?
The fee is a 1.75% fee for an Instant Pay transfer with a minimum of $1 and a maximum fee of $50. The fee will be deducted from your payment.
What if I don’t want an instant payment?
Your payment will be processed using your usual method and schedule. You don’t have to take any action.
Does this change how I get paid in the future?
No. This choice only applies to this payment.
What’s Routable?
Routable is a service provider used to pay vendors and service providers.
I received an email notification about a payment issue, what does it mean?
If we’re unable to send your payment instantly, we’ll automatically send your payment at default speed and notify you by email.
If there is an issue sending your payment, we’ll notify you by email to resolve the issue.
What should I do if I haven’t received my payment?
If after 2 hours you haven’t received your payment or any email notification about a payment issue, contact our support team.
Can I cancel or reverse an instant payment?
Once initiated, instant payments can’t be canceled or reversed.
Was I charged a fee?
Yes, you were charged a fee of 1.75% (min $1 and max $50), which was deducted from your payment. This was shown to you before and after accepting the instant payment. If you opted into automatic instant payments, you will see your fee on your confirmation email.
Do I need to do anything else?
No. You’re all set.
