The setup process should only take about 15 minutes for most accounts, however, it can take longer depending on the amount of data in your account.
Before you get started, please note the following requirements for both your Routable and NetSuite accounts:
- Access to a Routable account
- Administrator access to the NetSuite account
- Currencies must be set to USD 🇺🇸 in NetSuite
We recommend keeping your Routable account and your NetSuite account open in separate browser tabs at the same time while you complete this process.
Preparing your NetSuite account
Identify your account ID
The first thing you will need from your NetSuite account is the Account ID.
To find this in NetSuite:
- Navigate to Company Information (Setup > Company > Company Information) (📷 Screenshot)
- On the Company Information page, find your Account ID and take note of it (📷 Screenshot)
⭐️ Important: Before you can connect your integration, you will need to contact Routable support and provide this Account ID to our support team. We require this ID to be enabled on our side before you can proceed with the steps to install the Routable SuiteApp below.
Enable SuiteCloud features
Next, you will need to enable a number of NetSuite SuiteCloud features.
To find where to enable SuiteCloud features:
- Navigate to Enable Features (Setup > Company > Enable Features) (📷 Screenshot)
- In the Enable Features page, navigate to the SuiteCloud sub-tab (📷 Screenshot)
Enable the following SuiteCloud features by checking the following boxes and agreeing to the terms:
- Client SuiteScript (in the “SuiteScript” section)
- Server SuiteScript (in the “SuiteScript” section)
- SOAP Web Services (in the “SuiteTalk (Web Services)” section)
- REST Web Services (in the “SuiteTalk (Web Services)” section)
- Token-Based Authentication (in the “Manage Authentication” section)
Finally, Save the enabled features.

If this step has not been completed, you will see Limited Access and you will need to provide us with your Account ID first in order to proceed. (📸 Screenshot)
⭐️ Important: If you have NetSuite users with custom permissions you will want to do one of the following:
- Install the Routable SuiteApp after hours
- Instruct all users to log out then sign back in after the NetSuite admin installs the Routable SuiteApp
This will prevent your team from running into errors after installing the Routable SuiteApp.
Connecting Routable to NetSuite
Next, log in to your Routable account and head to your Account Settings > Integrations.
Under the section for NetSuite click the button to Connect your ledger. This brings up a page with 4 fields that will need to be filled out in order to connect the integration.
