Sometimes you need to update your NetSuite integration credentials. Whether someone in your organization has revoked their access token for whatever reason or if you simply need to authenticate with another user, follow the steps below to update your credentials.
Creating an access token in NetSuite
If you have a need to update your NetSuite integration credentials, you will likely need to create a new access token in NetSuite.
Skip this step if you have already created a new access token.
A NetSuite Administrator will need to create an access token in NetSuite that will also be required to connect the integration. Most NetSuite users can create this access token from Home page. The access token created this way will be associated with the user who created it.
- On your NetSuite Home page, locate the Settings tile and click Manage Access Tokens
- On the Manage Access Token page, click New My Access Token
- Complete the Access Token form
- Application Name: Select Routable Integration
- Token Name: This field is already populated by default by NetSuite with a concatenation of Application Name, User, and Role. If you prefer, you can enter your own name for this token.
- Click Click Save
- Take note of the Token ID and Token Secret
⚠️ Warning: The Token ID and Token Secret will not be viewable again after navigating away from the page. You may want to save your Token ID and Token Secret in a secure location.
If you are using a non-Administrator (limited permissions) role, you must create an access token on the Access Tokens page.
- Navigate to the Access Tokens page (Setup > Users/Roles > Access Tokens)
- On the Access Tokens page, click New Access Token
- Complete the Access Token form
- Application Name: Select Routable Integration
- User: Select the NetSuite user that you want to be associated with this access token
- Role: Select your limited permissions role
- Token Name: This field is already populated by default by NetSuite with a concatenation of Application Name, User, and Role. If you prefer, you can enter your own name for this token.
- Click Save
- Take note of the Token ID and Token Secret
⚠️ Warning: The Token ID and Token Secret will not be viewable again after navigating away from the page. You may want to save your Token ID and Token Secret in a secure location.
