Routable reads your NetSuite settings (not your NetSuite bill/invoice forms) to determine which fields to show when you are coding a bill. To ensure that your custom segments appear in the Routable bill form, make sure that your custom segments are configured as described below.

If you recently added a custom segment in NetSuite and you do not see it in Routable, re-sync your integration and make sure that the role associated with your NetSuite access token has View permissions for the Custom Record.

If you recently updated the role with new permissions, you re-synced your integration, and you still do not see your custom segment, you may need to wait up to 24 hours for NetSuite to update the permissions for Routable to be able to access your custom segment. Typically NetSuite makes these permissions updates available within ~30 minutes of the permission update but some users have reported that it may take as long as 24 hours.

Adding custom segments as transaction body fields

To add custom segments to the Routable bill header, configure the custom segment as follows:

• Application & Sourcing tab > Transactions subtab > Application section > ☑️ Purchase Transactions

If you want use custom segments in your bill header, configure them in NetSuite and then reach out to Routable Support. Support will display the field in a Routable tab called Uncategorized.

To add custom segments to the Routable bill header, configure the custom segment as follows:

• Application & Sourcing tab > Transaction Columns subtab > Application section > ☑️ Expense

Adding custom segments as transaction product/service item line item fields

To add custom segments to the Routable bill header, configure the custom segment as follows:

• Application & Sourcing tab > Transaction Columns subtab > Application section > ☑️ Purchase Item

Supported field types

Routable only supports List/Record types of custom segments.
